We’re so glad you’re here.

Welcome to the Worth Preserving blog! These posts, like WP itself, have a purpose—to connect people with information that will help them take good care of old houses. Even if you don’t have an old house yourself, the fact that you’re here suggests that you love them or at least want to understand and hang out with people who do. You are especially welcome.

I don’t pretend to have all of the answers. I’ve made mistakes, some of them big. I can live with blunders as long as I learn from them. That’s what this blog really is—a place to document our efforts to do right by old houses, reflect on how we can do even better, and gather constructive feedback from people like you who are doing the same.

Get your goggles on, and let’s go!
